That claim is the reason the null is preserved. Researchers on this thread allege that Trends results for terms in this case have disappeared after the screenshots went viral; Stew Peters made the same allegation on July 16, 2026 about Fort Huachuca image-search results, saying every named figure's results "had their results completely wiped" while unnamed people still returned data.
Both readings are available and neither is proven. Trends genuinely does suppress series below a volume threshold, and a term that sat just above the line can fall below it as the trailing window moves — no deletion required.
