Hand-Drawn Kirk and Shooter Positions in Courtyard
What This Image Shows
A wide high-angle photograph of the UVU courtyard under overcast sky, with the tiered grass terraces, concrete walkways and heavy brutalist academic buildings in frame. A dark metal balustrade cuts across the lower left, showing the picture was taken from an elevated walkway.
Over the photograph someone has drawn crude red stick figures, arrows and circles, and written two labels: Kirk and Shooter. An inset panel is layered into the lower right showing a heavily pixelated blow-up of the rooftop area at the marked shooter position. The pixelation is the point of the inset - it is offered as showing a figure on the roof, and it is exactly the kind of enlargement where the eye supplies detail the pixels do not contain.
The site publishes this as a researcher's marked-up hypothesis, not as an identification of anyone or a finding about the firing point. Enlargements at this level cannot support a positive identification, and the annotator makes no claim to have made one. For rigorous versions of the same question see Angles, Google Earth line of sight, Losee Center and Gun and Bullet.
