Yardage and Camera Sightlines From Stage Right

Aerial plaza diagram with arcs, sightlines and labels reading 75 yards from stage right, 78 yards, Bartholomew, stage right camera has Frank and Hall of Flags

What This Image Shows

An aerial diagram of the plaza and courtyard overlaid with semicircular arcs, straight sightlines, labelled pins and directional arrows - a forensic-reconstruction style graphic rather than a route map.

The legible labels read 75 yards from stage right, 78 yards, Bartholomew, stage right camera has Frank and Hall of Flags. Those yardages are the crux. The distances marked here are well under the figure of roughly 150 yards that features in the official account of the firing position, so this diagram is arguing for a much closer origin. Bartholomew refers to a filmer whose position is also named on the camera map in this cluster.

Distances taken off satellite imagery by hand carry real error, and a reader should treat the specific figures as approximate. What survives that caveat is the method: name the camera, fix its position, measure to the subject, and then check whether the recorded audio is consistent with that range. Read Camera positions around the courtyard, Adam Bartholomew, Canon XA55 Audio and Gun and Bullet.
