About This Cluster​

This sub-cluster holds a single crowd-identification exhibit: a daytime photo of the UVU audience on September 10, 2025, sourced to a post credited to Phil Lyman, with a green circle drawn around a man in a white "1776" cap near the front of the crowd. Crowd identifications like this one are part of the wider effort to map who was standing where around the tent in the minutes before the shooting — the same effort that produced the front-row and table-area identifications elsewhere on the site.

The image shows a dense crowd on the grassy slope facing the stage area, with event staff active in the foreground and the circled man picked out in the inset. Being present in a crowd photograph is not evidence of anything; the circle records a question researchers were asking — who is this man, and does he appear in other angles — not an accusation. No identification of the man has been established, and this page treats him as an unidentified attendee.
