Stained Second-Row Seats in the Transport SUV

A color photograph of the second-row seating of the vehicle. Both captain chairs are upholstered in dark charcoal leather with perforated center panels. The chair nearest the camera carries large dried patches of dark reddish-brown material concentrated on the left bolster, across the perforated seating surface, and smeared down the right side of the backrest near the seatbelt anchor, with lighter smudges on the folded armrest hinge and the buckle. The second chair shows similar staining along its right bolster, near its buckle, and along the lower plastic trim of the seat base. Discarded items lie on the black carpet between and behind the seats. A repeating CANDACE watermark runs down both borders of the frame.

This is the widest and clearest view of the interior condition in the set, and it is the frame most often used to establish that the transport vehicle carried substantial biological staining. That baseline matters to both sides of the argument: it is what the smaller fragment and debris close-ups in this cluster are cropped from, and it is the context in which the charred object was later photographed.

The material is described by commentators as blood and has not been publicly identified or tested.
