Wider View of the Stained Bag and Candy Cluster
What This Image Shows
A wider high-angle view of the same footwell area. The crumpled brown grocery bag with the faint grid print dominates the left of the midground, severely deformed and crushed, with large dark reddish-brown semi-dried staining saturating its top edges and folds. To its right, on the dark loop-pile carpet, sits the cluster of yellow twisted-wrapper candies, with a single isolated candy further down near a black plastic seat mounting bracket anchored to the floor. A dark leather seat with straight panel stitching, its plastic base molding and floor mechanism, occupies the right of the frame, with a textured grey side panel behind.
Framing matters here. This is the widest of the several near-identical footwell shots in the cluster, and it is the one that shows the spatial relationship between the bag, the candy cluster, and the isolated candy without a crop. Researchers use exactly that relationship to argue about sequencing between frames.
