About This Cluster​

This sub-cluster preserves the exhibits behind a rival version of the concealed-explosive theory: that the charge was not in the lapel microphone but inside Charlie Kirk's crucifix pendant. The argument comes from an X user posting as @cletus_jethro, who identifies himself as a former USMC explosive breacher, and was recirculated on June 21, 2026 by @matt82704417. His core engineering point is anchoring — an unanchored lapel mic would recoil away on detonation, he argues, while a pendant anchored by a heavy silver box chain gives the blast something to push against, making a small directed charge accurate.

The four images are screenshots of the thread itself: his USMC background statement, the anchored-charge and Monroe-effect reasoning, the PETN effectiveness figures (a relative effectiveness of 1.66 versus TNT), and the detonation-velocity math working from PETN's 8,400 m/s. He argues a cone-shaped charge of microscopic size in the top of the crucifix, positioned under the shirt and angled at the neck, could produce the wound without an exit — and that if a bullet had struck, the neck damage would appear before the strange shirt movement, not after. This is one poster's stated analysis and opinion; no pendant has been recovered or tested publicly, and the official finding remains a rifle shot.
