This is a digital screenshot of a post on X (formerly Twitter) by an account named "Project Constitution" (@ProjectConstitu). The post alleges a cover-up by Utah Valley University (UVU) Police concerning an individual it names as Russell Kim Kennington, who it says was arrested the day after the shooting of Charlie Kirk on September 10, 2025. The post includes a screenshot of an official-looking digital communication regarding a GRAMA public records request and a link to a previous post featuring a video thumbnail.
Both halves of that are the poster's allegations. The naming of the man is a claim made in circulated posts and has not been confirmed by any agency, and the cover-up assertion is the poster's reading of a records response rather than an established fact — a records office and a citizen requester can disagree about what a request covered without anyone concealing anything. No agency finding, filing or court record supports either claim. Reporting indicates that any charges connected to the person named were later dropped, and authorities named and charged a different person in connection with the assassination. Kennington is a living person who has not been convicted of anything related to Charlie Kirk's death, and nothing on this page suggests he, or any named officer, did anything improper or unlawful.
