Zinn Escorted Across the Plaza

A medium close-up taken in bright daylight. The elderly man in glasses and the blue shirt has his hands secured behind his back and is being escorted by another man. Behind him is the amphitheatre-style plaza with its concrete tiers, and a crowd of onlookers standing and watching.
This is the last of the plaza frames in the set and shows the escort in progress rather than the initial hold. Together the frames run in a rough sequence — the crowd reacting, the man detained, restrained, walked out — captured by several different cameras from several angles within a few minutes.
That multi-camera coverage is itself worth noting in a case where other footage has been reported deleted, refused, or lost. The detention of George Zinn is one of the best-documented events of the afternoon. What it documents is a man taken into custody, cleared as the shooter the same day, and, per police, saying he had claimed responsibility to draw attention from the real shooter.
