About This Cluster
This cluster holds additional frames of the pellet-gun arrest in downtown Provo, Utah on September 10, 2025 — the man detained within roughly an hour of Charlie Kirk being shot at UVU in neighboring Orem. Most of these stills were shared on Facebook by bystanders and show the sequence from several angles: officers securing a handcuffed man in a white T-shirt, a female officer holding a brown paper evidence bag, a gloved officer crouched over a green reusable bag on the sidewalk, and an officer carrying a wooden-stocked rifle. One outlier image shows a man in a white T-shirt and bucket hat waving at a rally, filed here as a possible — and disputed — identification.
Taken together, the frames document that Provo police recovered a long gun from the green bag and treated the stop as significant enough for multiple units with lights running. Early posts, including one from an account called War Reporter, claimed this was "the alleged shooter of Charlie Kirk" — a claim that did not hold; the man was not charged in the assassination, and researchers now file him as a possible distraction figure rather than a suspect. The wooden-stocked air rifle visible in these frames is what links this set to the gun-comparison images in the parent cluster.
Walk the frames in order to follow the arrest from detention to bag search, then compare against the Lower Pri frames and the maps in Location. The written profile is at Pellet Gun Man, and the wider distraction-figure question is laid out at Distraction People.
