About This Cluster​

This small cluster holds screenshots of a social-media identification thread in which an account posting as alleytopfiles said it had matched a man seen in event footage to a named individual, Angel Castro. The images are phone screenshots of the thread itself, not original photographs, and they capture the moment an online researcher posted an identification and the community reacted to it. Identification-by-crowdsourcing is one of the most common — and least reliable — forms of evidence circulating around this case, which is why the raw screenshots are preserved here rather than the conclusion.

The three images show the same post series: a carousel photo of a man in sunglasses on a phone call, a group photograph taken in front of a step-and-repeat backdrop printed with the Turning Point USA and yrefy.com logos and the words "THIS IS THE TURNING POINT," and a third frame of three people in front of a dark backdrop. The post text reads, in the poster's words, "I found him long ago but he is married to Chrissy and it's Angel Castro." Nothing in these images establishes that the identification is correct, that the person named was present at Utah Valley University on September 10, 2025, or that he did anything wrong. Presence at a Turning Point event is not evidence of anything beyond attendance.

Read these frames as a record of how an online identification was made and propagated, not as a confirmed match.
