ID Portrait From the Early Misidentification
Next Image
What This Image Shows
A plain identification-style portrait: a young man photographed chest-up against a flat blue studio background, looking directly into the lens with a faint closed-mouth expression. He has short sandy-brown hair, light stubble, and wears a dark navy collared shirt with thin light piping at the collar edge. The resolution is low and softly compressed, consistent with an ID-card scan or a webcam capture rather than a photograph taken for publication.
There is no text anywhere in the frame. It is the raw portrait that was attached to the early reports naming a suspect on the afternoon of September 10, 2025 — the same portrait that appears embedded in the social-media post filed later in this cluster.
The man in this photograph was detained and released without charge, and was not the shooter. He is a living person who was publicly named in error, and this site makes no allegation of any kind against him. The image is kept because the misidentification episode is itself part of the record. See Zach Qureshi, the companion portrait, and Suspects.
