That timestamp is the reason the sheet is filed here. It sits against a separate document, the affidavit of probable cause, whose timing the investigation file records as roughly eighteen hours later — on the afternoon of September 12. Researchers have asked what accounts for the interval, and that question runs directly into the wider dispute over the sequence of custody, questioning and the reading of rights.
The sheet was published by @BasedSamParker on X on July 17, 2026. Elsewhere in the file, an "Agent Davis" of the Utah State Bureau of Investigation is described in a government document as handling the accused's driver licence at the Washington County Sheriff's Office. Brian Davis is a living person named in procedural paperwork; no wrongdoing by him is alleged here and he has not been accused of any offence by any authority.
