Butch Hibbs, also reported as Burton Hibbs, is a Heber City, Utah resident and, according to public reporting, a brother of California pastor Jack Hibbs. He is described in social-media discussion as an older man who was photographed near Charlie Kirk as Kirk arrived at Utah Valley University on September 10, 2025. Some commentators have focused on an object visible in his shirt pocket in those photos; that discussion is unproven speculation, and nothing here establishes that Hibbs was involved in any wrongdoing.
