A vertical photograph on a bright, dry day. A male officer in an Operational Camouflage Pattern uniform walks directly toward the camera along a concrete path, wearing a black tactical backpack and tan suede combat boots. His right chest name tape appears to read something like "BUSHMAN" — the description flags it as uncertain — and the left chest tape reads U.S. ARMY. A second service member in a green flight suit walks close behind, smiling. Dry grass edges the walkway; distant mountains and airfield tarmac fill the background.

An arid airfield with a mountain backdrop is consistent with a number of installations in the American southwest, which is presumably why the frame was collected — Fort Huachuca in Arizona recurs across several unrelated strands of this investigation.
