Asking a Chatbot to Identify an Officer

What This Image Shows​

This frame is filed for what it reveals about method rather than for what it depicts. It is a direct record of a researcher uploading a face and asking an AI chatbot to name the person in it.

That matters because a chatbot's answer is not a source. Systems like this generate plausible text, are known to assert confident identifications that are wrong, and cannot verify who is in a photograph. Any identification downstream of this screenshot should be treated as unverified for that reason alone. No claim is made here about who the officer is or that he did anything wrong.
