About This Cluster​

This cluster holds one artefact, and it is a revealing one: a photograph of a researcher's own working notes. Somebody sat down with a clipboard and a ballpoint pen and tried to draw the family relationships connecting the Bednarz, Pennell and Sipes surnames, because an online claim had put a member of that extended family at Utah Valley University on September 10, 2025. The chart is the raw thinking behind the identification threads filed in the neighbouring clusters.

The image is a top-down shot of a blue plastic storage clipboard on a desk, holding a sheet of printer paper covered in a hand-drawn genealogy. The surnames Bednarz, Pennell and Sipes recur across it, alongside dates running from 1958 to 1997 and hand-drawn boxes, brackets and arrows labelled "siblings," "married," "Parents," "daughter," "Brother," "uncle" and "nephew." Several entries have been scribbled out and corrected. Those corrections are the most honest thing in the cluster: they show a researcher revising a guess rather than presenting a finished answer.
