Researcher Note: Who Stood Where at the Tent

What This Image Shows

A screenshot of a notes application, white text on black, written informally and with occasional typographical errors. It is one researcher's working list, opening: "Okay here's the 10 Bullet points of interest that I want to talk about. Charlie Kirk's security for that day."

The positional detail is the useful part. The note states that Kirk was placed under a tent with five security personnel around him: Rick Cutler in front of Kirk to his left, with a barricade between Cutler and the crowd; Dan Flood, described in the note as the person who hired Cutler that day, standing behind Kirk to his right; Frank Turek to Kirk's right, described not as security but as present in support and as the person holding the iPhone that was recording when Kirk was shot; Brian Harpole in front of Turek, also to Kirk's right; and a fifth man whose surname the writer gives as McAllister, whose position the writer says he is unsure of, and who Frank Turek has said drove Kirk to the hospital.

This is a citizen's reconstruction, not an official seating or post plan, and the writer flags his own uncertainty in places. All of the people named are living private individuals; the note records where each is said to have been standing, and nothing on this page suggests any of them did anything wrong. The list is worth keeping because layout is testable — each claimed position can be checked against the photographs and video of the stage.
