Street View Courtyard Marked Snipers Nest
What This Image Shows
A screenshot of a 360-degree Street View panorama of the campus courtyard, annotated with red and orange arrows and text. Academic buildings with large glazed elevations border a grassy lawn; the deciduous trees are bare. An inset at the right zooms into a distant rooftop.
The interface text dates the underlying imagery precisely: "UVU Courtyard, Nov 2023," alongside the panel controls "Expand side panel" and "Share." The annotations added by the maker read "Sniper's Nest" and "Sniper."
That date is the most important thing on the frame. This is mapping imagery captured almost two years before September 10, 2025 — bare trees, no crowd, no event infrastructure. It can legitimately be used to establish fixed geometry: building heights, roof parapets, the distance across the lawn, what a person on that roofline could see. It cannot show anyone who was present on the day, and the labels "Sniper" and "Sniper's Nest" are the annotator's designation of a position, not a photograph of a person. Nobody is visible in the inset who has been identified by anyone.
