Same Press Report Saved After the Shooting
What This Image Shows
A second saved capture of the same newspaper passage that appears earlier in this cluster, collected separately and filed with the after-the-shooting material rather than with the sniper research.
The text is identical: police activity centred on a university-owned house under construction, residents seeing officers and dogs, Dylan Hope describing the loud crack from campus, the excavator operator's encounter with a calm young man who said someone had been shot and that he was "just trying to get home safe," the photograph shown to the crew about an hour later, and Hope's statement that it "did not seem to look like the one the F.B.I. released to the public."
Duplicates are worth keeping rather than de-duplicating away. Two independent captures of the same paragraphs, saved into different folders at different times, establish that the wording was recorded before any later revision of the article — a small but real hedge against the quiet edits and takedowns documented elsewhere on this site. The pixel-level differences between the two captures also make it possible to check that neither has been altered.
