Rooftop Object Circled on Aerial View
What This Image Shows
A low-resolution 3D aerial rendering of the building complex, looking straight down onto the roofs. On a pale hexagonal roof section in the upper left, someone has drawn a red circle around a small dark rectangular shape — either a structure standing on the roof or an opening cut into it. The surrounding roofs are dark grey and reddish-brown, broken up by grates, plant and walkways. There is no on-screen text and no caption stating what the circled object is.
The frame belongs to the rooftop-access thread that runs through this whole cluster. The official account places the shooter on a roof; researchers have spent months mapping every roof hatch, stair head, plant enclosure and parapet in this complex, because access to those roofs is the difference between an opportunistic position and a prepared one. A separate text-message exchange reproduced in the Security Team cluster shows the roof-access question being raised with campus police before the event, which is why an unlabelled hatch on an aerial view is worth marking at all.
What this image does not do is identify the object, date the imagery, or connect it to anything that happened on September 10, 2025. Rendered aerial tiles are often stitched from imagery captured years apart, so nothing about the roof's state on the day can be inferred from it.
