Anonymous Message About Internal Pressure

What This Image Shows

A screenshot of one incoming text message on a black phone screen, dated "Yesterday" and timestamped 12:53 PM. There is no sender name, no thread history and no recipient identified — a single dark grey bubble on its own.

The message reads in full: "Not bad man we have all been laying low a bit. There's definitely some people in the company trying to find out who the pro and anti Candace people are. The only thing I know for sure is the board member Doug DeGroote has been the one pushing the managers and people at HQ to say Candace is crazy. I really don't know anything about him besides him having a financial group he runs."

Note how the message itself is hedged: the sender says he knows nothing about the man beyond his running a financial group. This is anonymous, uncorroborated, secondhand workplace talk, and it is labelled as such. It is preserved because internal factional pressure inside the organisation after Charlie Kirk's death is a real question and this is one of the few contemporaneous artefacts of it — not because the characterisation is accepted. Doug DeGroote is a living person and a listed director; no wrongdoing by him is alleged here and he has not been accused of any offence by any authority. See Doug DeGroote, Candace Owens and the board listing.
