Two Posts Timestamped Around September 10

What This Image Shows​

A dark-mode screenshot of two posts by the verified account Josh Hammer (@josh_hammer), captured from X.com. The upper post is a single word, "based," quote-posting a 2013 post by Donald J. Trump reading "Should be public execution for all to see- you will end this bullshit fast!" It is timestamped 18:05 on 9/9/25 with 15,000 views. The lower post reads simply "Public execution." and is timestamped 15:57 on 9/10/25 with 11,000 views.

The timestamps are the reason this screenshot circulated. The second post is dated the day of the shooting, and researchers have pointed to the phrasing and the proximity.

That is a juxtaposition of timestamps and nothing more. The quoted 2013 Trump post concerns an entirely unrelated subject from twelve years earlier, the commentary is political rhetoric of a kind posted constantly online, and there is no indication in the screenshot of what either post was about. Nothing here suggests that Josh Hammer or anyone else had foreknowledge of any attack, and no such claim is made. He has not been accused of any offence by any authority.
