The hand-to-temple gesture is the entire basis of the claim attached to this frame - that the movement is consistent with operating camera-equipped eyewear rather than simply adjusting sunglasses. That is one researcher's reading of a single low-resolution still, and adjusting glasses is a thing people do constantly.
