The eyewear angle in the folder name comes from a widely shared comparison graphic arguing that the sunglasses he is seen wearing at the TPUSA backdrop resemble a commercially available pair of camera-equipped smart glasses. That claim is an unverified reading of low-resolution video, not an established fact, and it is recorded here as a reported claim.

The background material includes a screenshot of an October 8, 2020 Facebook post by Shaffer Security Group, which reads that the firm is proud to call Dan Flood one of its Senior Security Specialists, that he is a former United States Marine and a professional model, and that he is one of the original SSG team members. A separate dossier-style graphic compiles cropped portraits, a LinkedIn experience panel and a summary describing a role in risk strategy, executive protection and cybersecurity. Investigation notes also record a claim from a childhood friend, reported on social media, that Flood had previously run security for donors at the Cattle Barons Ball in Dallas, and researchers have paired that with the separate reporting that no security plan existed for the September 11 event.
