High-Angle View of the TPUSA Stage
What This Image Shows
A high-angle view of the event stage, with a figure standing at the right of the platform and other people - camera operators, event staff - on the ground below and behind it. Metal security fencing rings the perimeter and the blue and white promotional canopy runs overhead. Sponsor and organiser lettering is legible across the banners: PROVE ME WRONG, YREFY.COM, PRIVATE STUDENT LOAN and TURNING POINT USA.
This is the fourth frame filed under the monopod label, and it is the most useful of them because it is the one taken from height. It shows the stage, the ground crew, the fence line and the camera positions in a single view.
An overhead frame like this is how you check whether any proposed firing position actually had line of sight to the chair. That test - proposed position against sight line against sound timing - is the core of the reconstruction work discussed in Tent Shooter Theories and in MonoPod Camera.
