The canopy, the table and the banner are the fixed landmarks investigators use to orient every other frame from under the tent.
Geometry under the canopy is not a trivial detail. The heights of the platform, the table and the banner line determine what could be seen from where, and those measurements underpin both the official account and the competing close-range arguments.
