About This Cluster
This single-image sub-cluster holds the graphic that anchors the inside-the-tent shooter argument. It is a two-panel composite: on the left, a blurred close-up of pale paving with a small reddish cylindrical object on it, annotated with blue arrows and the hand-lettered captions SHOT CAME FROM HERE and SHELL CASING; on the right, a manufacturer promotional image of a CornerShot weapon system with a mounted pistol, red-dot sight and integrated video monitor. The composite is an argument, assembled by researchers, not a photograph of anything happening.
The claim being made is the one logged in the master investigation file under the monopod-camera and tent threads: that a cartridge case visible in event footage ejected inside or at the rear edge of the canopy at Utah Valley University on September 10, 2025, that it came to rest on the courtyard surface, and that a hinged corner-firing weapon would explain both a concealed firing position and a downward ejection pattern. @ProjectConstitu and @stevendenoon have advanced versions of this reading publicly. None of it has been confirmed by any forensic examination, no such weapon has been recovered or entered into evidence, and the object in the left panel is small, out of focus and identified only by the annotation drawn over it. It is a hypothesis under dispute, and this page reports it as such.
The reason it stays in the file is that the surface in the left panel was excavated and paved over four days after the shooting, so whatever was on it survives only in photographs. Read this alongside Tent Shooter Theories and Site Alteration Evidence, then look at Truck Inside for the competing vehicle-based version of the same close-range argument and at Gun and Bullet for the official ballistic account.
