The man with the backpack is what the researcher saved this frame for. Descriptions logged in the investigation file - from a construction worker who reportedly encountered a man in black immediately afterward, and from police dispatch traffic that day - both describe a person in dark clothing carrying a bag.
That is a clothing resemblance drawn from a blurred phone video, and it identifies nobody. Black shirts, caps and backpacks were common in that crowd, and no authority has connected any person in this frame to the shooting. See Shooter Back and Proof Not Tyler.
