Warrant affidavits are among the few primary documents the public gets to read in a case that is otherwise pre-trial and partly sealed. They matter here because the digital evidence is the case: investigation records show the Utah State Bureau of Investigation also sought records from Discord relating to usernames including Craftopia, Gamin and The Corruption, and prosecutors confirmed in court that a Cellebrite extraction was performed on Lance Twiggs' phone.
