What This Image Shows​

This is a photograph of a computer monitor displaying a scan of the handwritten note attributed to Tyler Robinson, presented as a broadcast graphic on a television and radio program. The paper is blue-lined notebook stock, the handwriting is uneven block print, and the note is addressed to a nickname before describing an intention to take out Charlie Kirk. The monitor's file-viewer interface is visible above the image, showing a timestamp of 9/15/25 and a machine-generated filename.

That framing is itself the point of interest. What the public has been shown is a photograph of a photograph of the note, several steps removed from the physical document, released through media rather than through a filing. Commentators quoted in the investigation record have pressed exactly this: the note, the messages and the devices have not been produced publicly, only images of them, and the material arrived in stages months apart. A separate discovery filing elsewhere in this section refers to a photograph of a burnt note provided on January 9, 2026, which is a detail nobody has explained on the record.

Against all of that stands the fact that the defense holds the underlying material and is not publicly alleging fabrication, and no examiner or court has found the note to be anything other than what the state says it is.
