Personal social media of this kind entered the record only because Lance Twiggs became the state's central witness. His phone produced the message evidence, prosecutors confirmed a Cellebrite extraction of it in open court, and the messages recovered from it are the confession material the public knows. Photographs like this circulate as identification references rather than as evidence of anything.
