This is page two of a formal court filing, headed BACKGROUND and running to three paragraphs of narrative that set out the factual account the filing party is working from.
Background sections are useful precisely because they are the uncontested-facts section, or at least the version each side is prepared to put its name to. Read against each other, the background sections of prosecution and defense filings show where the two accounts of September 10 and 11, 2025 actually diverge — on custody times, on the sequence of the note and the messages, and on what was recovered when.
