About This Cluster​

Lance Twiggs is Tyler Robinson's roommate, and his phone is where most of the alleged confession evidence in this case came from. Prosecutors have said in open court that a Cellebrite forensic extraction was performed on Twiggs' device and reviewed by an agent, and that it recovered text messages exchanged between the two men on September 10 and 11, 2025, beginning with a message at 11 p.m. on September 10. That makes a third party's phone, not the defendant's, the chain-of-custody spine of the state's most quotable evidence. The images filed here are the document screenshots, transcript excerpts, court filings and analysis posts that researchers have used to work through what those messages do and do not establish.

Most of the images in this cluster are text: excerpts of the alleged Robinson-Twiggs exchange, FBI interview summaries, search-warrant paragraphs naming Discord handles, and highlighted passages from defense and prosecution filings. Commentators quoted in these screenshots argue the exchange contains internal contradictions — worrying about leaving evidence while sending a long written trail, apologizing for involving Twiggs while involving him, saying he wanted to take a secret to the grave and then allegedly posting it publicly. Others have noted that Twiggs reportedly said Robinson never talked about Charlie Kirk or politics much, which is a real tension with a confession thread but is testimony about memory rather than proof of anything. The counterweight that belongs alongside all of it: the defense holds the full extraction, has every incentive to attack it, and is not publicly contesting its authenticity, and no court or examiner has found the messages fabricated.
