Grandmother's Published Statement
What This Image Shows
A news article screenshot, several paragraphs of text above a photograph of Tyler Robinson, with a carousel arrow at the edge of the frame.
The quoted text is from his grandmother, Debbie Robinson. She is reported as refuting reports that her grandson could have had issues with his mental health, calling him just a very shy, good kid. She is quoted saying there's no way he could be violent, and there's absolutely no way that he did that, adding that she has watched that child grow up and cannot imagine that it would ever be him, and that she is not saying it just as his grandmother but from knowing him as she does.
A relative's statement does not establish what happened, and it is offered here as published testimony about how he was known rather than as evidence about the events of September 10, 2025. It is consistent with other family statements: investigation records report that family members told researchers face to face at a January 16 hearing that they do not believe he did this, and that the account of his parents turning him in is not how they describe it.
