About This Cluster​

After the surveillance stills of the stairwell descent were published, people who had attended the Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University went out and physically retraced the route shown in them. This cluster holds two circulated graphics built from that: on one side the security frame of the person in the black graphic shirt, light blue cap and jeans coming down the concrete steps, and on the other side photographs taken by attendees standing in the same spots. That kind of on-the-ground re-photography is genuinely useful, because it fixes camera positions, sightlines and distances that no one can infer from a cropped surveillance still.

The source material is an Instagram post whose caption reads that the poster took friends to a grandmother's house, retraced his steps, and took pictures in the exact place the security cameras caught him, adding that the last picture shows Converse brand footprints. Converse-style shoe impressions are part of the official description in the charging documents, so the footprint photograph is the detail with real evidentiary interest here. The graphics also overlay a personal name and draw red circles around individuals in a group selfie, and that part is the graphic-maker's annotation, not an identification by any investigator, agency or court. No one shown in these photographs has been connected by any authority to the shooting, standing at a location is not evidence of anything, and this site makes no allegation about anyone pictured.
