A screenshot of a Steam comments section, headed View all 1,116 comments. Three entries are visible, the longest dated September 2 and written as a mock breaking-news bulletin describing one account nickname being shot by another, with a mock eyewitness and mock authorities, all using in-group usernames.
This post is why the thread circulated: it is dated eight days before September 10, 2025 and it contains the words shot in the head and gunman. Read in context it is plainly a roleplay joke between gaming accounts, of a kind posted in enormous volume every day, and it names no real person or place connected to the case. It is included here because the claim built on it spread widely and the correction has to sit next to the source.
No account here is identified with any person, nothing in this thread is evidence of foreknowledge or planning by anyone, and no such thing is suggested.
