Two-Panel Booking Photograph
Next Image
What This Image Shows
A standard two-panel booking photograph — frontal view on the left, left profile on the right — of a young adult male with dark messy hair against a plain background.
The profile view is the reason booking photographs get pulled into a file like this. Surveillance frames from the Utah Valley University cameras are mostly high-angle and rear or three-quarter views, so a controlled profile is the only reference of its kind available for comparing head shape, ear position and jawline against those frames. That comparison has been attempted by researchers on both sides of the identification question.
Tyler Robinson has pleaded not guilty and no court has convicted him; a booking photograph records that a person was processed into custody and nothing more. See the other booking image in the parent cluster, then read Arrest, Utah County Jail Custody and Stairs Guy Identity Gap.
