The note is the earliest link in the state's public chain. The account is that a note was left under a keyboard at the apartment Tyler Robinson shared with Lance Twiggs, that the roommate found and read it, and that his reaction is preserved in the message thread later recovered from his phone. The transcript filed at Lance opens with exactly that: a narrative line stating that after reading the note the roommate responded, followed by a disbelieving reply. Everything downstream — the messages, the alleged Discord post, the confessions described to family — is built on top of it.
