Stripped Soil Strip and Cut Sod Edge in the Courtyard

Ground-level photograph of the UVU Sorensen Center courtyard showing a wide strip of bare excavated soil across the foreground with a clean cut sod edge against the surviving green lawn, a metal stake in the dirt, an irrigation valve box, and yellow tape strung across the tiered terraces behind Next Image

What This Image Shows

A ground-level frame of the Sorensen Student Center courtyard at Utah Valley University, shot across the excavated zone toward the tiered amphitheater and the stacked-stone planter. A wide strip of bare, dry soil runs the full width of the foreground. Behind it the amphitheater lawn is still green and intact, and the two surfaces meet along a clean, straight cut line — the sod was cut and lifted along an edge rather than worn or scuffed away.

A metal stake stands upright in the dirt with a cable or hose running from its base. An irrigation valve box sits at right where the soil meets a poured concrete pad. Across the upper terrace, yellow tape is still strung between supports, and a green dumpster is parked under the building deck at left. The lower right corner carries an SPN (Stew Peters Network) watermark, so this is a frame circulated through that outlet rather than an original from the posting account.
