Two features, both of interest for different reasons. The dome camera is fixed campus surveillance covering the covered passage - which means footage of that area on September 10, 2025 existed. The hatch is an opening in the ceiling directly above the same area.

Both lead to records requests rather than conclusions. Campus camera footage has been the subject of a GRAMA request that was denied, and the ceiling above the passage was reportedly worked on in the days after the shooting. See Cameras, Security Cameras GRAMA Denial and Site Alteration Evidence.
