GRAMA Response Citing the Life or Safety Exemption

The wording matters line by line. The request was for the approvals behind work in the Fountain Courtyard - the courtyard that was excavated and paved four days after the shooting - and it reached both the university's facilities office and DFCM, the state's Division of Facilities Construction and Management. Some records were released. Others were withheld under the same exemption code that appears on the redacted September 9 warning communications.
That is the pattern researchers keep pointing at: the approval chain for altering the site exists on paper, was requested, and came back partly redacted under a life-or-safety exemption.
