Paving Crew Working Under the Skybridge
What This Image Shows
A wide, eye-level daytime frame of the landscaped amphitheater. The terraced grass seating fills the foreground; in the midground a crew of construction workers is paving the walkway beneath the elevated concrete pedestrian bridge, which carries the green campus banners. Clear blue sky, further campus buildings behind.
This is the work at the centre of the site-alteration argument. According to accounts logged in the investigation file, the courtyard where Charlie Kirk was shot was excavated and paved on Sunday, September 14, 2025, four days after the shooting, and contractor Daniel Merrell has said publicly that he was called in by men working for the state and told the deadline came from above his pay grade.
The photograph proves that paving work happened in that spot. It cannot show the date on the work order, who authorised it, or whether the ground was documented before it was dug up - and those are the records that have not been released.
