About This Cluster
Two annotated video frames, both taken from the same playback at timestamp 1:09:45, and both marked up in red by the researcher who posted them. The first is captioned Object there with an arrow pointing down and left into the crowd and a circled upward arrow at the right of the frame; the second, from moments later, is captioned Object Gone. Between the two frames something the annotator was tracking is no longer where it was. The underlying footage is a wide high-angle view of the packed Utah Valley University courtyard after the shooting, with people scattered across the grass terraces and small groups standing on the flat rooflines and balcony railings of the buildings behind.
The claim carried by the annotations is that an object visible on or near a roofline in one frame disappears in the next - the sort of before-and-after pairing researchers use to argue that something was removed from an elevated position while the courtyard was still full. The frames do not establish what the object was, who moved it, or even that it was on a roof rather than in the crowd behind it: the resolution at that distance will not carry that weight, and the arrows are drawn on, not photographic. This is an open question raised by a researcher, not a finding.
The roof question matters because the official account places the shot from the Losee Center roof and the only known footage of a person on a roof shows someone prone and dressed entirely in black. Anything else moving on a roofline that afternoon is worth a records request. Read Losee Center for the building itself, Proof Not Tyler for the competing rooftop accounts, and more for the unannotated views that show these rooflines clearly.
