About This Cluster
This cluster holds a three-panel video-still sequence of the same unidentified man tracked in the neighboring Fake Policeman cluster: a mustached man in a white Make America Great Again cap and dark embroidered shirt on the Utah Valley University lawn. The three frames, annotated with red arrows by the researchers who circulated them, appear to show a gold six-pointed star badge pinned to his shirt pocket, then his hand moving to the badge, then the badge removed and held at his waist. Posters allege the sequence shows someone wearing and then quietly removing a law-enforcement style badge at the event.
If the badge reading is right, the obvious questions follow: was this man an actual officer, private security, or neither, and why would a badge come off at a public event where a shooting took place? He has not been publicly identified, no agency has claimed him, and the badge interpretation remains the posters' claim rather than an established fact. Nothing here shows this man doing anything illegal; the images document appearance and movement only.
Walk the single composite image in this cluster alongside the Fake Policeman stills to judge whether they show the same object. Then read Suspects for the roster of unexplained people at the venue and Security Team photos for how the actual protective detail looked that day.
