Post Citing Dispatch Audio on the Autopsy

Light-mode screenshot of a long X post quoting a dispatch exchange about an autopsy and citing a state statute

What This Image Shows

A screenshot of a post from an account shown as Project Constitution, handle @ProjectConstitu, on a plain white background.

The post reads: "BOMBSHELL: Leaked Audio Proves No Autopsy on Charlie Kirk After Assassination - AGAINST STATE LAW! Leaked police dispatch audio from the day Charlie Kirk was assassinated at Utah Valley University reveals: NO AUTOPSY WAS PERFORMED on his body." It then quotes the exchange: "Dispatcher: 'He did not go in for an autopsy. Death certificate was signed by a doctor at the hospital.' Officer: 'Okay... just do a field sup (supplementary report) documenting there is no autopsie.'" It continues: "Under Utah Code 26B-8-213, the medical examiner SHALL perform an autopsy 'to aid in the discovery and prosecution of a crime' and 'protect an innocent person accused.'"

The autopsy question is one of the most consequential open issues in this case, and this archive tracks it separately alongside Utah's autopsy statute, the medical examiner paperwork and the reported signature on the report. Dispatch audio is a real record type, but a quoted transcript in a post is not the audio, and the statutory reading offered is the poster's. See Medical, Cause of Death and Cover Up.
