Plaza Crowd and Litter Around the Tent

A high-angle photograph across the terraced concrete plaza at Utah Valley University. The lawns step down in a zig-zag pattern toward the foreground, and a crowd is gathered around the event tent on the level below. Uniformed officers are visible moving through the area. The only readable signage is a partial A PLACE FOR YOU, the university's campus branding.

The most telling detail is the ground itself. The terraced lawns are covered in paper cups, bottles, cans and personal items left where people were standing. A crowd that leaves that much behind did not disperse in an orderly way.

The state of the plaza is part of the record of how the venue emptied on September 10, 2025, and of how much of the crowd's own phone footage from those minutes existed before it was uploaded, deleted or lost.
