Overlay work of this kind is the standard visual grammar of the trajectory argument: a line from a claimed origin to the target, plus a reference image of the weapon type under discussion. The line is drawn by hand on a two-dimensional frame, which cannot establish an angle in three dimensions; the independent ballistics and acoustic analyses in this archive attack the same question with better tools.
