Crowd Reflected in a Glass Facade

Modern glass curtain wall with dark mullions reflecting an outdoor crowd, a low concrete building and a bright cloudy sky

What This Image Shows

A daytime frame of a modern glass curtain wall on a campus building. Large tinted panes set in thick dark mullions fill the frame, and the glass reflects an outdoor crowd, a neighboring low-rise concrete building and a bright sky with thin clouds. A small slice of the actual crowd appears in the bottom-left corner.

There is no readable on-screen text in the frame.

Reflective glass is more useful to a reconstruction than it first appears: a mirrored facade records what stood opposite it, which is how researchers have tried to recover crowd positions, vehicle placement and rooflines that no camera was pointed at directly. Those reconstruction efforts are collected in Cameras and UVU.
