Per-Aircraft Recovery Status
This is the reference page. Pick one tail number and get a complete answer: which archives still hold its ADS-B tracks, how far back each one reaches, how many copies of its tracking-site page the Internet Archive kept, and how many rows of published flight history were pulled back out of those copies.
The headline first, because it is the same for all sixteen: no page was found removed. Sixteen aircraft were probed on five tracking sites — flightradar24.com, flightaware.com, radarbox.com, globe.adsbexchange.com and planespotters.net — and every aircraft page that could be tested loads today. The HTTP 403s this site once read as removals are robot blocks that hit unrelated control aircraft identically. That correction, with the control test behind it, is on Flight Data Recovery and What A 403 Actually Means.
Everything below is generated from fleet_recovery_matrix.json and the .meta.json sidecar written
beside every payload under site/docs/Planes/<TAIL>/data/recovered/. The source is in every filename.

How to read the columns. The first three are days of full ADS-B trace recovered, one file per aircraft per day. "Earliest date any source reaches" is the oldest date on which any free archive holds a track for that airframe — for eleven of the sixteen that is now in 2022, a year this site previously published as untestable. "Wayback page captures held" counts archived copies of the tracking-site page itself, which is the only thing that could ever document a removal. The last column counts rows of published flight history recovered out of those copies.
A zero in the first three columns means a volunteer network heard nothing on those days. It does not mean the aircraft did not fly and it does not mean a transponder was off. Both free daily archives begin in 2023, so every 2022 gap is a limit of the archive by construction.
The four things worth stopping on
- N55906 has zero data in every archive — zero adsb.lol, zero airplanes.live, zero ADS-B Exchange monthly samples, and zero flight rows on FlightRadar24 in a real browser. It is a Piper Cherokee Arrow II, a 1970s single-engine light aircraft. The honest reading is that it is not fitted with, or is not being received on, ADS-B. Detail below.
- N888KG is by far the best-archived page on the fleet — 22 Wayback captures across fifteen years and 70 recovered flight rows, nearly half the fleet total.
- T7-ELL reaches back to 1 February 2022 on the ADS-B Exchange monthly samples, the joint-oldest recovery on the following side.
- SU-BTU has zero adsb.lol days but three on airplanes.live and nine monthly samples. Two volunteer networks with different receiver coverage produce different results for the same airframe. That is ordinary, and it is not evidence of anything.
The following fleet
Six aircraft, five Egyptian-registered and one San Marino, named in the
73-overlap claim. Identifiers below are from
code/lib/fleet.js; type codes and operator strings are as FlightRadar24 served them to a real
browser on 24 August 2026.
SU-BTT
ICAO hex 0101D3 · Falcon 7X (FA7X) · Egyptian registry · following side · lead tail of the
overlap claim.
- adsb.lol — 29 days, 24 Feb 2023 to 11 Oct 2025. The deepest adsb.lol coverage on the fleet.
- airplanes.live — 37 days, 24 Feb 2023 to 24 May 2026.
- ADSBX monthly samples — 6 days, 1 May 2022 to 1 Mar 2026; three of them fall before March 2023.
- Wayback — no archived copy of any tracking-site page exists for this tail.
- Overlaps — 53 alleged pairs tested. 16 now have a real track on the alleged day, 4 have one only on a neighbouring UTC day, 33 return nothing from either free archive.
This tail has the most recovered ADS-B of any aircraft here and the least recovered page — the
Internet Archive never crawled it. The 2023 reach on adsb.lol exists because the overlap sweep
deliberately pulled its alleged dates rather than a fixed recent window. fleet.js records a
standing identifier disagreement: api.adsbdb.com returns 0101F0 for this registration, while the
adsb.lol trace for 0101D3 self-identifies as SU-BTT and carries the 10 September 2025
Provo-to-Wilmington track. We use 0101D3 and publish the conflict.
SU-BND
ICAO hex 01003E · Gulfstream IV (GLF4) · Egyptian registry · following side · second lead tail.
- adsb.lol — 19 days, 3 May 2023 to 15 Sep 2025.
- airplanes.live — 27 days, 3 May 2023 to 4 Jun 2026.
- ADSBX monthly samples — 6 days, 1 Jan 2022 to 1 Jul 2026; two before March 2023.
- Wayback — 2 FlightRadar24 captures, 12 Oct 2025 and 18 Nov 2025, both with a populated flight table (7 rows and 4 rows). 11 rows recovered.
- Overlaps — 16 alleged pairs tested. 7 recovered on the day, 3 on a neighbouring day, 6 nothing.
Along with SU-BTT, this is one of only two tails whose adsb.lol coverage reaches back into 2023 (3 May 2023), and for the same reason: the overlap sweep pulled its alleged dates. Its two Wayback captures are recent enough to be genuinely useful — both were taken while the flights they list were still inside FlightRadar24's free seven-day window.
SU-BTU
ICAO hex 0101D0 · Falcon 7X (FA7X) · Egyptian registry · following side · claimed in the
Armada fleet list as an el-Sisi personal jet.
- adsb.lol — 0 days. Nothing at all.
- airplanes.live — 3 days, 26 Apr 2026 to 12 May 2026.
- ADSBX monthly samples — 9 days, 1 Dec 2022 to 1 Mar 2026.
- Wayback — 1 FlightRadar24 capture, 31 Aug 2022, populated with 4 rows. 4 rows recovered.
This is the clean illustration of the point made above. One volunteer network holds nothing for this airframe; a second, independent one holds three days; the paid exchange's free monthly sample holds nine. The networks differ because their receiver coverage differs. FlightRadar24 served this tail's page in a browser with 56 flight rows and an operator string of Egypt - Air Force, so the aircraft is plainly flying and plainly public — adsb.lol simply is not hearing it.
SU-BTV
ICAO hex 0101D1 · Falcon 7X (FA7X) · Egyptian registry · following side · Armada tail.
- adsb.lol — 1 day, 11 Oct 2025.
- airplanes.live — 7 days, 11 Oct 2025 to 24 May 2026.
- ADSBX monthly samples — 2 days, 1 Oct 2022 and 1 Oct 2025. The 2022 sample is a local Cairo flight, 269 points.
- Wayback — none.
The thinnest ADS-B record on the following side, and the recovery pushed its documented history back by more than two years to October 2022. FlightRadar24 shows 54 rows in a browser, so the sparse archive coverage is about what volunteer receivers caught, not about how much the aircraft flies.
SU-BGM
ICAO hex 010070 · Gulfstream IV (GLF4) · Egyptian registry · following side · Armada tail,

- airplanes.live — 5 days, 6 Sep 2025 to 16 May 2026.
- ADSBX monthly samples — 1 day, 1 Aug 2023. The single thinnest sample result on the fleet.
- Wayback — 1 FlightRadar24 capture, 7 May 2020, populated with 6 rows. 6 rows recovered.
The oldest populated FlightRadar24 table recovered for any following-fleet tail is this one, from May 2020. Its live page today shows no rows and prints "could not find data", which for a private aircraft means it has not flown in the last seven days — the same state Nike's Gulfstream, one of the controls, was in on the same day.

- ADSBX monthly samples — 12 days, 1 Feb 2022 to 1 Aug 2026; three before March 2023.
- Wayback — none.
This tail reaches further back than any other on the following side — 1 February 2022 — and what came back argues against its grouping. The twelve recovered traces show a Dubai- and Van-Nuys-based long-range charter pattern: Van Nuys to London Luton, Dubai to Kuala Lumpur, Zurich to Abu Dhabi, Ireland to Dubai. Two databases also disagree about who operates it — adsbdb records Solairus Aviation, while FlightRadar24's browser page reads Falcon Luxe · Falcon Luxe San Marino. Neither reading is Egyptian government. The full argument is on Flight Data Recovery.

- adsb.lol — 12 days, 1 Sep 2025 to 9 Oct 2025.
- airplanes.live — 50 days, 1 Sep 2025 to 5 Jun 2026, including throughout May 2026 — the month the tracking history was said to have been erased.
- ADSBX monthly samples — 18 days, 1 May 2022 to 1 Jun 2026; three before March 2023.
- adsb.lol GitHub backup — 1 day, 13 Oct 2025, recovered from the ODbL release for a date the live API refuses. It matches the airplanes.live trace to the second on first contact.
- Wayback — 3 captures. FlightRadar24 on 26 May 2022 (2 rows) and 11 Sep 2025 05:57 UTC (11 rows); FlightAware on 14 Jan 2026, which archived only the JavaScript shell with no server-rendered rows. 13 rows recovered.
This is the tail the whole "erased" claim was built on, and it is the one with the most recovered material. The 11 September 2025 snapshot — taken roughly twenty hours after the assassination — carries the complete 4 to 10 September flight table, reproduced in full on the overview. Its live FlightRadar24 page returns HTTP 200 in a browser with its identity block intact and zero flight rows, because the aircraft had not flown in the preceding seven days.

- ADSBX monthly samples — 13 days, 1 Mar 2022 to 1 Feb 2026; five before March 2023, the most of any tail.
- Wayback — 22 captures, the most on the fleet, spanning 4 Jul 2011 to 28 Jan 2026. Nine are FlightAware: eight populated between 2011 and 2016 carrying 60 rows between them, plus a 2025 JavaScript shell. Thirteen are FlightRadar24: five populated on 11 to 13 Sep 2025 with 2 rows each, then eight captures from 18 Sep 2025 to 28 Jan 2026 where the page is present and the table is empty. 70 rows recovered.
The empty-table sequence is worth reading carefully, because it looks like a removal and is not. Five crawls in the days immediately after 10 September caught two flight rows; every crawl from 18 September onward caught the same page with nothing in the table. That is FlightRadar24's seven-day free window closing behind a private aircraft that stopped flying, captured in slow motion by the Internet Archive. The page itself is present in every one of those thirteen captures and loads HTTP 200 today.

Twenty-three monthly samples reaching back to the first day of 2022 makes this one of the two best-covered airframes in the sample archive, and the 2016 FlightAware capture is the second-oldest populated table recovered anywhere on this fleet.

The best hit rate of any archived page on the fleet: seven crawls, seven usable flight tables, no empties and no JavaScript shells. All seven predate 2016, and that matches the pattern across the whole sweep: every FlightAware capture anywhere on this fleet that yielded a readable flight table was taken before 2017. The useful FlightAware captures are the old ones.

The most consistently heard airframe on the fleet and simultaneously one of five with no archived page at all. It also shows the most flight rows of any subject in the browser probe — 294 — which is what a busy charter aircraft looks like inside a seven-day window. Nothing about this tail is missing; nothing about it was ever captured either.

The single Wayback capture is a present-but-empty FlightRadar24 page from May 2022 — the same seven-day-window state seen on N888KG's later captures, three years earlier and on a different aircraft. It documents that the page existed and was public in 2022, which is all it can do.

- Wayback — 3 FlightAware captures, 7 May 2023, 20 Sep 2025 and 23 Sep 2025. All three archived the JavaScript shell only, with no server-rendered flight rows. 0 rows recovered.
Well covered from late 2023 onward and completely uncovered before it — the monthly sample archive holds nothing for this airframe until November 2023, which is unusual on a fleet where eleven of sixteen reach into 2022. The three Wayback captures exist but carry no data: modern FlightAware loads its flight table by JavaScript after the page renders, and the Internet Archive stores the shell. That is an archiving limitation, not a removal, and it applies identically to every recent FlightAware capture on this page.

- Wayback — 3 FlightAware captures, 26 Mar 2023 to 20 Sep 2025, saved to disk but with no flight rows parsed out of them. 0 rows recovered.
The two LASAI Global Expresses have the same archive floor, November 2023, and no other aircraft on this fleet shares it. FlightRadar24 served this tail 378 flight rows in a browser, the second highest of any subject, so this is a heavily flown aircraft whose free-archive record simply does not extend backwards.

(
A72351· P28R · Private owner), and zero flight rows, printing "could not find data for specified flight".
This is the only aircraft on the fleet with nothing in any archive, and the explanation is the aircraft itself. A Piper Cherokee Arrow II is a four-seat, single-engine, retractable-gear light aircraft of 1970s design. Aircraft in that class are frequently not equipped with ADS-B Out that the volunteer networks can hear, or are heard only when close to a receiver, and many are flown a few hours a month. Four independent archives finding nothing, over four and a half years, is what that looks like.
What that does and does not establish. It establishes that no free ADS-B source can put this
tail anywhere, on any date, and that its page has not been removed from anywhere — it loads
normally. It does not establish that the aircraft never flew. What it does bear on is the claim
itself: the tail was named as part of a survey-aircraft line of inquiry, and a 1970s light single is
not a survey platform in the sense that a Global Express or a Navajo is. fleet.js carries that
same note against the entry. The point here is narrow and it is about the data, not about the person
who made the claim.
How to check any line on this page
Nothing on this page needs an account, an API key or a payment. Run these from
site/docs/Planes/following/apis/public_open_source/code/ and compare the output to the numbers
above.
# both free daily archives, day by day, for one tail
node recover_erased.js --tail N102DZ
# the free ADS-B Exchange monthly sample archive, back to 2016
node recover_adsbx_samples.js --tail SU-BTT
# every alleged overlap date for one tail, pulled on the day and the day either side
node recover_overlaps.js --tail SU-BTT
Each run writes its payloads to site/docs/Planes/<TAIL>/data/recovered/ with the source in the
filename, and a .meta.json beside every file recording the exact URL, the HTTP status, the byte
count and the UTC retrieval time. Nothing overwrites a previous pull — a re-pull lands beside the
first with its own timestamp, because the difference between two pulls is how a disappearance would
be shown.
Two counts on this page do not come from those three commands. The Wayback page captures and the
flight rows off archived pages columns come from the Internet Archive sweep recorded in
fleet_recovery_matrix.json, and the browser row counts quoted in the per-aircraft sections come
from browser_capture/captures/fr24_page_availability_2026-08-24.tsv.
